A fast spray paint hack to improve the utility of a circ saw
Little lines etched into shiny metal are not very easy to read, especially on a sunny day, so Paul had a simple solution: spray paint the etchings.
Mask the saw with a paper towel, plastic, or newspaper (NOT a phone with a news app open, though).
Paint the whole bevel gauge
Wipe the surface with acetone to remove paint, not in the etch crevasses. The paint stays in the etchings and not on the surface, so now you've got red numbers and lines to line up to.
You're welcome.
